binder USA’s M12 portfolioRecent additions to binder USA’s M12 portfolio offer new combinations of features – pin count, termination style, locking system, housing materials, and shielding. The company is also developing new M12-threaded products with outer push-pull locking. The variety of options allows users to optimize their solution for specific applications, including factory and process automation, industrial metrology and controls, and autonomous robots and cobots. binder also introduced its own single-cable hybrid solution, which combines seven signal contacts with two power contacts to allow power and signal supply in a single connector. For power supply, rated currents of 12 A and voltages up to 63 V are available. For signal transmission, rated currents of 0.5 A and up to 12 V are available.

AirBorn’s all-new iSeries lineAirBorn’s all-new iSeries line of industrial interconnects consists of the iW Series (signal and low power, with current rating up to 5A per contact) and the iPowerAmp (power connector with current rating up to 23A per contact). They are the latest connectors in the AirBorn Industrial product offering. Quick and easy to install with non-proprietary, plug & play, tower top fiber and power interfaces, the Rosenberger NPOI range offers highly scalable, flexible, and future-proof FTTA/T and PTTA/T connectivity solutions and maximum return on investment. Designed and produced in-house at Rosenberger in Germany, NPOI – Neutral Point of Interface connectivity solutions are available in standard and tailor-made designs and configurations, in low or high volumes. They offer the highest quality to ensure a long and trouble-free operation in even the harshest of environments.

ureline series from InterplexThe new Sureline series from Interplex offers OEMs cost-effective, convenient, and ready-to-use overmolded products to implement into their latest equipment models, rather than having to create more expensive custom connector/cable assemblies. Available directly off-the-shelf, the Interplex Sureline medical-grade circular interconnect products are fully compatible with the widely used REDEL P1 and P2 connector format. They are available in 14-pole (Plex 1) and 34-pole (Plex 2) versions. Customers can stipulate to have the same connector on both ends of the cable or opt for a connector at one end and bare wires at the other. Cable lengths of 3 feet (0.9 m), 6 feet (1.8 m), and 10 feet (3.05 m) may be chosen. These interconnects leverage the company’s patented Sureflex overmold technology to ensure industry-leading strain relief. The specially designed ergonomic external profile of the connector element means that users will naturally place it in the correct orientation during mating (supplementing the keyway/polarization mechanism incorporated into their construction). As a result, not only is mating conducted more quickly and without the wear-and-tear that mis-mating attempts would otherwise cause. Sureline interconnect products are manufactured to IPC/WHMA-A-620 Class II standards. They have a 1500 mating cycle durability, strong contact retention, and withstand temperatures up to 150 °C, with non-standard material options capable of handling 170 °C. Their IP50 rating protects them against the ingress of liquid sprays that can regularly occur in demanding clinical environments.

SABIC’s breakthrough polycarbonate (PC)-based copolymer resin is well-suited for photovoltaic (PV) connector bodies and meets stricter performance and regulatory requirements for emerging 1.5Kv solar systems. The new LNP EXL9334P copolymer resin achieves the highest comparative tracking index (CTI) level (UL PLC0) and IEC as Material Group 1 (IEC MG 1). It also delivers low-temperature ductility, good dimension stability, excellent heat resistance, good durability and weather resistance and flame retardance. With high performance across all key properties, this specialty resin surpasses competitive materials such as glass-reinforced nylon, polyphenylene ether (PPE), and standard PC. Customers can also benefit from the cost-effective design flexibility and processing efficiency of this injection-molding thermoplastic.
