The PCB connector mating halves are available in both surface-mount and edge-launch configurations, providing flexibility for PCB design. These solutions support reliable signal transmission across all channels in space-constrained environments. Key features include a low-profile design, a convenient push-on coupling, and an error-free mating design – all in an 8-port connector, ideal for a wide range of applications, including military and aerospace, Test & Measurement, and high-density RF modules.

ODU offers the modular connectors of the ODU-MAC Silver-LineAutomated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) and Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) in production, intralogistics, and warehousing require high-performance, durable charging and docking interfaces to keep them in service for as long as possible. ODU offers the modular connectors of the ODU-MAC Silver-Line for automated docking applications. Various transmission media can be combined into a single interface and flexibly adjusted to the specific application. High-performance LAMTAC Flex modules can transmit up to 225 A per module. The built-in IP2X touch protection enhances user safety. During automated docking operations, the system compensates for radial positional deviations of up to 4 mm. With more than 100,000 mating cycles, the ODU-MAC Silver-Line is designed for frequent automatic mating and disconnection operations. Various fiber optic modules are also available for optical data rates, including solutions featuring Expanded Beam Performance technology. Since their contact areas do not need to be cleaned under normal conditions, maintenance requirements are reduced — and with them, the risk of maintenance-related downtime. When maximum charging power is the priority, the ODU-MAC Power Connector comes into play. When used with bridged busbars, the system transmits up to 600 A and is available with two or three power contacts. This helps reduce charging times and get vehicles back into the transportation process more quickly.

SPTH 1.5 and 3 terminal blocks from Phoenix ContactSPTH 1.5 and 3 terminal blocks from Phoenix Contact feature a TWIN design with a footprint identical to the popular MKDS screw terminal blocks, ensuring compatibility with existing layouts. Device manufacturers can now switch between screw connection and push-in technology without changing the PCB layout or device housing. Phoenix Contact’s time-saving push-in technology eliminates the need for tools and ensures a long-term, stable connection. The terminal blocks feature larger test openings and a connection capacity of up to 12 AWG. They are 20% smaller than comparable push-in PCB terminal blocks. The solder pins have an insertion geometry optimized for precise positioning during assembly. With a current-carrying capacity of up to 20 A and a nominal voltage of 300 V, the SPTH 1.5 and 3 are suitable for both signal and power applications.

Lumberg is expanding its circular connector portfolio with Series 04Lumberg is expanding its circular connector portfolio with Series 04, featuring new circular connectors with bayonet locking. The new locking mechanism enables particularly fast and convenient connection and disconnection — with a short twist instead of time-consuming, cumbersome screw locking. This makes the new variants especially suitable for applications where connections need to be made quickly, easily, and reliably, or disconnected on a regular basis. While based on the classic M16 design, the new Series 04 relies entirely on a bayonet locking mechanism. Simply plug in and twist to lock. The bayonet lock makes the new M16B circular connectors particularly easy to handle. Unlike a conventional screw-locking mechanism, the connection does not have to be tightened over several turns of a thread. Once the connector halves are mated, a short twist is all it takes to lock the plug and mating connector together. This saves time during assembly, installation, and service while also improving ease of use. The bayonet mechanism offers advantages when connections are frequently mated and unmated or when installation space is limited; the connection can be made in just a few simple steps without a time-consuming screwing motion.

Amphenol RF expanded its emerging PFAS-free portfolio with a variety of BNC connector and adapter optionsAmphenol RF expanded its emerging PFAS-free portfolio with a variety of BNC connector and adapter options. PFAS-free BNC interconnects utilize PEEK insulators instead of traditional PTFE ones, which provides an environmentally friendly solution for system designs. These connectors and adapters serve as drop-in replacements for existing part numbers and deliver the same trusted performance. They are ideal for applications where PFAS restrictions are becoming more prevalent, such as commercial kitchen equipment, food processing systems, industrial electronics, and broadcast equipment. PFAS-free BNC connectors and adapters are manufactured with nickel-plated brass bodies and gold-plated brass or beryllium copper contacts to maintain the same durability, reliability, and signal integrity. By eliminating PTFE from the interface design, these products align with increasing global efforts to reduce the use of PFAS while preserving the electrical performance required for demanding RF applications.

Ironwood Electronics produces elastomer sockets which include a protective “P” layer that allows for more insertions by protecting the elastomer from erosion and debris build upIronwood Electronics produces elastomer sockets which include a protective “P” layer that allows for more insertions by protecting the elastomer from erosion and debris build up, extending the life of the elastomers to 200,000 plus insertions. The projections on the top side of the P-Layer cut through oxides on BGA solder balls and give the necessary extension to contact LGA and QFN packages. The GT elastomer continues to provide the shortest possible electrical path, and when combined with the protective layer enables 80+ GHz signal speeds. Custom P-Layers are available with short lead times, typically less than two weeks, and can be customized for any array, from very small to very large I/O counts, with pitches down to 0.40 mm.
