Here are the new products your favorite distributors recently added to their line cards.
Astute Electronics has signed a franchise agreement with French hi-rel connector manufacturer Nicomatic. Certified to ISO 9001:2008 and EN9100:2009, Nicomatic is well-established in the aerospace and defense markets. One of Nicomatic’s key product ranges is the DMM Micro-D Mix 2mm-pitch connector family, which is compatible with MIL-DTL-83513G performances. Offering a wide choice of arrangements compared to Micro-D or D-sub, DMM connectors save space and provide electromagnetic and mechanical protection thanks to one- or two-piece backshells.
Astute also added Amphenol Tuchel, which offers a wide range of interconnect products and specializes in high-power contact technology such as RADSOK, to its portfolio. The Amphenol-Tuchel range of high-reliability connectors will offer Astute’s industrial and defense customers a high-performance, high-power solution for power-hungry applications used in rugged environments.
Finally, Astute signed a franchise distribution deal covering the UK and Ireland with Amphenol LTW Technology, which supplies rugged and harsh environment interconnect products. Based in Taiwan, Amphenol LTW provides a vast portfolio of waterproof connectors, all rated at IP66, IP67, IP68, or IP69K.
CDM Electronics now stocks Binder’s new 12-pin HEC circular connectors, which offer power interconnect solutions to a variety of commercial, industrial, agricultural, military, and aerospace applications. These lightweight-plastic cable connectors are UL- and VDE-certified, and IP68- and IP69K-rated to ensure protection against dust, submersion, and close-range high-pressure, high-temperature spraydowns. HEC plugs and jacks are designed for harsh environment applications in which excellent resistance to climatic influences such as UV exposure, industrial liquids, and chemical substances are involved.
Mouser Electronics now stocks the PSRmini safety relays from Phoenix Contact. Available in the industry’s thinnest design, the 6mm- or 12mm-wide relay modules take advantage of compact and flexible force-guided contacts to offer high performance in a small space — reducing the footprint up to 70% compared to standard relays. Providing scalability, safety, and reliable availability, PSRmini relays have been specifically optimized for use in machine building. They contain a new elementary relay design that provides switching capacity up to 6A with low power consumption.
Molex’s foolproof CP-6.5 wire-to-board connectors are now available in Europe through TTI. Users benefit from full keying and color-pairing features that enhance user safety while speeding up consumer and industrial interconnect assembly applications. With a wide spectrum of color-coded housings to differentiate mating possibilities, the 6.50mm wire-to-board receptacles and PCB headers provide quick and easy identification of mated pairs for assembly and repair. Connectors with mismatched colors do not mate. Unique keying features within each header and receptacle housing prevent entry of receptacle into header when mismated.
