Phoenix Contact's growing line of terminal blocksPhoenix Contact’s growing line of terminal blocks is now available from RS. These terminal blocks are equipped with Phoenix Contact’s innovative Push-X connection technology which is tested and proven to facilitate wired connections that are user-friendly, flexible, durable, reliable, repairable, and safe. Push-X features a pretensioned contact spring that establishes direct wiring connections for all types of conductors — including flexible and rigid conductors with or without ferrules and with cross sections extending from 0.5 mm2 to 25 mm2 — without the need for tools or force. This unique capability significantly reduces installation times and paves the way for fully automated wiring processes that will further improve process efficiency and product quality and help users address pervasive industry challenges, including skilled labor shortages. Phoenix Contact’s Push-X connection technology is currently available in its XT and XTV series DIN-rail terminal block connectors, as well as its XPC series PCB terminal block connectors.

Mouser ElectronicsMouser Electronics now stocks cutting-edge RF and EMI components from Molex. These components are designed to improve signal integrity and electromagnetic compatibility for aerospace and defense applications. Molex Fixed RF coaxial attenuators deliver accurate and consistent power levels and low passive intermodulation (PIM) for high-performance applications. These attenuators are engineered with solderless contacts to withstand wide temperature ranges, shock and vibration forces, and harsh environmental conditions. They are ideal for aircraft, SATCOM uplinks, radar systems, wireless communications, and more. Molex EMI-Filtered High-Performance D-Sub Connectors enhance signal integrity, comply with regulatory standards, and offer a versatile, space-saving design that simplifies implementation while improving the overall performance and reliability of system applications. Integrated EMI filters provide additional space on the PCB board, and their one-piece, die-cast connector shells provide a ground-plane shielded interface. These connectors are suitable for flight and engine controls, navigation systems, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), cellular base stations, and similar applications. Molex EMI Filter Plates deliver advanced protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI) for high-performance systems, enhance reliability and system performance by helping safeguard critical components, and optimize functionality across multiple lines. The Molex EMI Filter Plates are ideal for harsh environments in the aerospace, defense, and telecommunications industries.

Phoenix Contact’s expanded BC modular housing seriesPhoenix Contact’s expanded BC modular housing series gives building automation engineers more design flexibility. The family now includes new enclosures with Push-in connection and upper housings in more widths. For the first time, Push-in PCB terminal blocks are available for the BC 17,8 (1 HP). The FKDSO 1,5 and FKDSO 2,5 terminal blocks make it possible to implement future-proof applications with up to 16 positions per module. The coordinated housing and connection system reduces design time for developers. The 3.5- and 5-mm pitch terminal blocks are designed for currents up to 22 A. They come in three and four positions and can easily be combined in a single upper part.

The specially engineered design of Amphenol RF’s new non-magnetic SMPM bullet adapterThe specially engineered design of Amphenol RF’s new non-magnetic SMPM bullet adapter makes it immune to interference from electromagnetic fields, ensuring constant and reliable performance. Equipped with enhanced signal integrity capabilities, this adapter is compatible with Amphenol RF’s non-magnetic SMPM connectors, allowing for additional design opportunities. The company’s non-magnetic SMPM bullet adapters are engineered for use with medical resonance imaging (MRI), quantum computing, radar systems and GPS applications. The durable body is made from beryllium copper with 10 microinches of gold plating over 80 microinches of white bronze plating while the contact pin is made from beryllium copper with 30 microinches of gold plating and 80 microinches of white bronze plating. This allows the ruggedized PTFE insulated SMPM adapter to provide dependable, high-frequency performance in harsh environments. They are also available with smooth bore and limited detent compatibility, as detented connectors hold the bullet adapter in place on the board while the smooth bore connector allows for float. The axial misalignment for these adapters is 0.25 mm, while the radial misalignment is 3°.
