PEI-Genesis offers Trompeter Space-Rated Subminiature RF Connectors from Cinch Connectivity Solutions worldwide. Trompeter connectors have been integral to mission-critical programs, including communications satellites, GPS navigation satellites, and rovers. These high-reliability connectors are specifically designed to perform in the most demanding environments where failure is not an option. The Trompeter TRB, TRT, TTM, and TRS series deliver lighter weight, higher density, and proven reliability for high-frequency and harsh-environment space applications.

Samtec’s URSA^® I/O ultra-rugged cable assembly systems and 1.27 mm Tiger Eye™ cable-to-board systems meet or exceed Severe Environment Testing (SET) qualification standards. SET is a Samtec initiative to test certain products beyond typical industry standards and specifications for quality and durability. Driven by demands for high-functioning commercial standard interconnects, SET provides performance confidence, not only for rugged mil/aero applications, but also for automotive, industrial, and medical applications. Severe Environment Testing incorporates Samtec’s standard DQT (Design Qualification Testing) and E.L.P.™ (Extended Life Product™) testing, as well as additional testing for interconnect systems designed for use in more extreme/harsh applications or environments. Samtec’s SET products are approved for NASA Class D missions that require high-reliability, quick-turn, and cost-effective solutions for LEO satellites, SmallSats, CubeSats, and other space exploration applications.

Last quarter, Mouser launched more than 16,000 part numbers ready for shipment, with over 11,000 introduced in July alone. Among them is HARTING har-flexicon connectors for Ethernet and SPE. The har-flexicon connectors are specifically designed and tested for Ethernet applications, ensuring robust and consistent connectivity. This connector series supports a variety of Ethernet standards and power options, including single-pair Ethernet (SPE). SPE is a new Ethernet communication standard that enables power and data to coexist on a single pair of wires, referred to as Power over Data Line (PoDL). This allows for faster data transfer and reduced wiring complexity and costs for industrial automation, edge computing, automotive networks, Industrial IoT, and smart building applications.

NEUTRIK’s new NAUSBC-5G-FL chassis connectors are D-size connectors designed for easy integration and high performance. The connectors feature integrated fly-lead patch cables at the rear. Four different product variations offer various lengths for these fly-lead patch cables, ranging from 10 cm to 25 cm (3.9 to 9.8 inches). The connectors are rated for 5 Gb/s data speed (USB 3.1 Gen 1 specification) and 100 W (20 V / 5 A) power transfer for device charging and powering (USB Power Delivery 3.1 specification). The connectors’ integrated rear-side fly-lead patch cables provide multiple benefits. By removing a passive couple, they reduce loss. They also ease integration by providing the necessary cable to connect to active equipment. This reduces both system cost and complexity. Since the patch cables are an integral part of the connector design, they greatly reduce the risk of accidental cable pullout within the enclosure or behind the rack. NAUSBC-5G-FL’s rugged D-size form factor is ideal for installation in AVL rack systems, embedded control units, mobile AVL setups, and charging applications in demanding environments. By combining high-speed data transfer, robust power delivery, and a pre-terminated cable in a single product, the connector is well-suited to both harsh and space-limited environments.

Phoenix Contact now offers AC charging cables for electric vehicles (EVs) based on the North American Charging Standard (NACS). Designed for Level 1 and Level 2 chargers, the CHARX AC charging cables can be used in both home and public EV charging stations, such as parking garages, business parking lots, or rest stops. Phoenix Contact’s NACS AC charging cables comply with SAE J3400 and are also certified in accordance with UL 2251. The charging cables have an IP67 protection rating when plugged in and are available in power ratings of 50 A and 80 A with a rated voltage of 250 V AC. Optional temperature sensors in the cables can provide monitoring during the charging process. The ergonomic charging cables have an offset handle for comfort. The design also decouples the heat from the handling/gripping surfaces for user safety.

Anderson Power expands its popular Saf-D-Grid Connector Series with the launch of the new Saf-D-Grid Three Phase 20A. Designed for the latest high-voltage data centers, this connector supports 480VAC three-phase power and delivers 6.65 times the power output of a standard IEC C13/C14 connector within the same compact footprint. The Three-Phase 20A fits within a standard IEC 60320 C13/C14 connector footprint while supporting standout voltage ratings up to 480VAC line-to-line and 277VAC line-to-neutral.

The combo swifty CS cutting and stripping attachment simply slides onto any uninsulated screwdriver with a 3.5 mm blade diameter so panel builders and machine builders can start working immediately in the field without needing to change tools.
