Würth Elektronik expanded its product range with a comprehensive heat sink portfolio divided into three specialized product groups. The WE-HTO heat sinks are designed for THT-TO packages like the TO-220 and TO-247. WE-HIC includes classic finned heat sinks for components with flat surfaces, such as CPUs or DC/DC converters. The WE-HTOI and WE-HICI variants are supplied from the factory pre-coated with thermal interface material. This eliminates the air gap between the component and the heat sink, thus maximizing cooling performance. As a special service, Würth Elektronik provides technical support, detailed heat-sink characteristics, simulation options, as well as customer-specific modifications. The WE-HTO heat sinks are available in various shapes and with different surface structures to enable tailored cooling performance. These include variants with curved sheet metal and cooling fins, which dissipate more heat through their increased surface area. In addition, matching M3 screws, nuts, and insulating sleeves for mounting on the WE-HTO and WE-HTOI heat sinks can also be ordered. WE-HIC is available with continuous fins or interrupted fins. The design with continuous fins is for applications in which the airflow is aligned with the fins. The variant with interrupted fins is ideal when airflow in the installation environment cannot be clearly defined. Heat sinks for ICs are available in sizes ranging from 20 × 20 to 40 × 40 mm.
Neutrik Group Americas unveiled the NEUTRIK TRUE1 DATA connector series to meet the needs of IP-based signal distribution, higher data rates, and hybrid production workflows. Built to support today’s high performance data standards, the new independent, robust data connector platform includes mediaCON TRUE1, etherCON TRUE1, and opticalCON TRUE1. The TRUE1 DATA connector series is a mechanically rugged, standardized platform. Purpose-built for both fixed installations and mobile production applications, this series delivers secure, high-speed connectivity in environments where durability, ease of integration, and operational reliability are essential. TRUE1 DATA connector series is a unified mechanical platform that integrates three leading media types into one consistent architecture: mediaCON TRUE1 with USB-C (USB 3.2 Gen 1×1, 5 Gb/s) and USB Power Delivery 3.0 up to 100W; etherCON TRUE1 featuring RJ45 with CAT6A performance supporting 10 Gigabit Ethernet; and opticalCON TRUE1 offering two-channel fiber optic connectivity available in both multimode and single mode versions. By combining these standards into a single mechanical platform, NEUTRIK ensures consistent handling, streamlined system design, and simplified integration across multiple connectivity formats. This shared architecture allows engineers and system designers to standardize panel layouts and workflows while supporting a wide range of signal types, from high-speed data to fiber transmission. The TRUE1 DATA Connector Series will be available beginning June 2026.

binder’s specially engineered triangular molding is implemented for the first time in its updated M16 cable connectors as well as M12 K- and L-coded variants. This new molding geometry delivers functional and visual advantages, enhancing mechanical durability, improving handling, and providing a distinct, modern design that sets the connectors apart. binder’s new triangular molding ensures optimized force distribution in the transition area between cable and connector. Thanks to its special geometry, bending, and tensile forces are dissipated more evenly. At the same time, anti-twist protection is enhanced, further improving the mechanical stability of the connection. These design features help to increase the service life of the connectors even under demanding operating conditions. The structured geometry provides users with a better grip during assembly and disassembly for improved ergonomic handling. Furthermore, the shape reduces potential dirt traps in the connection area. This makes the connectors easier to clean – a particular advantage in industrial environments exposed to dust, oil, or other contaminants.
Samtec Inc. released the BE71A Bulls Eye® Phase & Amplitude Stable Test Assembly. Optimized for use out to 71 GHz in support of 224 Gb/s PAM4 SerDes testing, this new product combines the popular Bulls Eye assembly’s space-saving compression-mount design with Samtec’s distinctive orange NitrowaveTM high-performance microwave cables. As frequencies increase, phase matching between cable assemblies becomes more important. This is because precise signal timing is critical when assessing performance or detecting faults in a measurement. The BE71A test assembly offers industry-leading 0.5 ps phase matching. This matters for signal integrity, reliability of transmission, and error reduction. The 71 GHz Nitrowave cables in the BE71A assembly were specifically designed to maintain phase stability while test fixtures and cables are tweaked and adjusted. Optimized to address real estate, cost, and flexible use case issues, the Samtec BE71A Test Assembly has a standard 1.85 mm connection to instrumentation, eliminating the need to upgrade to the 1.00 mm test equipment that is often required for 224 Gb/s PAM4 testing. Configured in a double row, which supports microstrip/co-planar waveguide or stripline PCB transmissions with 50 ohm impedance, Samtec’s BE71A Bulls Eye Phase & Amplitude Test Assembly compression mounts to the board for high-speed digital test, SerDes characterization, and ATE. It is also well suited for high-density multi-port panel and I/O connections.

Weidmuller USA PROeco II Power Supplies with SNAP IN technology are the first power supplies on the market to feature the innovative SNAP IN solution. Weidmuller’s SNAP IN technology ensures faster, simpler installation with long-term serviceability and reduced wiring effort. When the stripped wire is inserted into the contact point, users hear an audible “click” that signals a secure connection, and it’s easy to reset the connection by pressing on a raised pusher to release the wire. This next generation of industrial power supplies provides up to 95% efficiency, which reduces heat and operating costs. Designed for easy integration into existing systems, it offers advanced performance at a competitive price, making it a flexible and cost-effective solution for modern power management. PROeco II Power Supplies with SNAP IN offer reliable start as low as -40 °C and stable operation across a wide temperature range, with a life expectancy exceeding one million hours. They are optimized for compact control cabinets with a 100 mm shallow depth combined with extremely low idle power consumption to maximize energy savings and enable proactive maintenance and faster troubleshooting through clear visual indication of normal operation, overload pre-warning and fault condition during commissioning, and operation with the tri-color LED and status relay. PROeco II SNAP IN models are designed to deliver permanent, high performance power distribution in a wide range of industrial applications such as OEM machine building, industrial automation and robotics, material handling, building automation, and energy application.
Mouser Electronics now ships the new PIC32CM PL10 low-power Arm Cortex-M0+ based microcontrollers (MCUs) from Microchip Technologies. The PIC32CM PL10 series offers a balanced combination of performance, power efficiency, and peripherals for industrial, smart building, consumer, and sensor-based applications. These PIC32CM PL10 MCUs are an attractive choice when transitioning from an 8-bit MCU to a 32-bit MCU. The PIC32CM PL10 family is pin-compatible with the AVR Dx families of 8-bit MCUs, so users can easily migrate from AVR MCU-based hardware designs. These MCUs all feature familiar peripherals found on 8-bit MCUs, including multi-voltage I/O (MVIO), configurable custom logic (CCL), and event systems (EVSYS), reducing the BOM and PCB footprint for compact and cost-efficient designs. Additionally, the combination of 5V operation and integrated analog peripherals, such as the peripheral touch controller (PTC), analog-to-digital converter (ADC), and analog comparators, makes these Microchip PIC32CM PL10 MCUs more robust and more immune to noise. Mouser also stocks the Microchip EV10P22A Curiosity nano evaluation kit, which offers a demonstration and development platform for evaluating the PIC32CM PL10 MCU. The evaluation kit’s integrated programmer/debugger eliminates the need for external tools, and Microchip’s free-to-use MPLAB Tools for VS Code and MPLAB Harmony provide an easy GUI-based interface to configure the device and all on-board peripherals.
