Hirose’s GT50 Series from Heilind Electronics is a revolution in compact wire-to-board connector technology — uniquely designed to be small in size and high in reliability. With its ability to withstand heat up to 125 °C and resist vibration, the GT50 Series offers a secure, robust connection ensuring it is primed to meet the demanding requirements of various automotive applications and more. MHF-TI is an RF connector from I-PEX engineered with high retention force to meet the harsh operating conditions of modern automotive systems. Amphenol’s new Ve-Tera Series is an automotive-grade 48V power interconnect solution designed for vehicle electronic and electrical (E/E) system applications. The traditional 12V E/E system can no longer support the increased power demands of modern vehicles. The evolution from 12V to 48V architecture is a necessary industry trend. This transition reduces wiring harness size and weight, improving overall vehicle energy efficiency. Ve-Tera series features small sizes to save installation space, a safe design that exceeds creepage and clearance value for PD2, and a robust design with CPA and TPA. Axon’ Cable developed FDC 100, a special range of flat display cables for connecting HD and ultra-high-definition flat displays in vehicle infotainment and GPD systems. Designed for board-to-board or board-to-display connection, this range of FFC are 100 Ω cables suited for high-speed data transmission of signals up to 2 Gb/s. High-speed flat cables are compliant with high-speed protocols including LVDS. Foldable and flexible, this assembly consists of a 21, 31, 41, or 51-way 0.50 mm pitch shielded flat cables, terminated with connectors compatible with the board-mount FI-R connectors. Cables are compatible with Molex ZIF and Hirose FH41 connectors.

ept’s One27 1.27 mm SMT connectors have proven their endurance in rugged, harsh environments. A well-established, time-tested solution in the automotive industry, with widespread adoption across onboard telematics and ADAS (advanced driver assistance systems), the One27 delivers reliable communication between multiple PCBs through a socket connector design featuring dual-beam, double contacting. This provides a 1.5 mm overmating range, allowing the plug and socket connectors to be separated by up to 1.5 mm without loss of contact. A nickel-phosphorus alloy plating with flash gold offers excellent performance without the additional cost of using heavy gold plating. Wide ranges of variants are available, supporting board-to-board distances ranging from 8 mm to 20 mm, angled options, contact counts from 12 up to 80, and customizable cabled variants of the IDC receptacle. The One27 connector family has expanded with the new addition of floating One27 connectors. The Float27 series offers a ± 0.8 mm tolerance compensation in both the X and Y axis and enable increased stack height options of up to 30.7 mm. All variants of the One27 series are manufactured by ept in Europe, eliminating exposure to many common supply chain disruptions. The One27 has passed LV214 testing, a strict and highly regarded automotive specification used by major German car manufacturers.
