What are Bullet Connectors?
Meet the Connector: Bullet Connectors
Bullet connectors are widely used for simple, impermanent electrical connections in automotive and transportation applications as well as HVAC, entertainment systems, and lighting.

Bullet connectors are a simple wire connector named for its compact, circular form factor. They are commonly specified for impermanent electrical connections in automotive and transportation applications such as connecting ESC wires to motors, as well as HVAC, entertainment systems, RC applications, and lighting. They are an alternative to soldering that creates a secure connection in situations where connections may need to be changed for adjustments or maintenance, or for temporary installations.
They are widely used in automotive and transportation applications, such as to connect ESC wires to motors They are small, typically 2-5 mm in size, although they do add a minute amount of weight compared to soldering, so they are mainly used for impermanent connections.
Design Notes:
Mounting type or types: Female and male pole-type connectors are mated together or by inserting the stripped wires into the connector and crimping the terminal.
Dimensions: Bullet connectors are available in a variety of sizes. To specify, sizing must correspond to the selected wires’ AWG size.
