Amphenol Industrial’s SurLok Plus compression lug supplied by HeilindAmphenol Industrial’s SurLok Plus compression lug supplied by Heilind is a field installable, highly reliable alternative to common compression lugs. Using industry standard crimp, screw, and busbar termination options eliminates the need to purchase special torque tools. Amphenol’s SurLok Plus is an environmentally sealed version of the original Surlok and is available in smaller sizes. It features a quick-lock and press-to-release design. Incorporating the latest R4 RADSOK technology, SurLok Plus is a compact, quick mating, and robust product line. The RADSOK high amperage contact technology utilizes high tensile strength properties of a stamped and formed, high conductivity alloy grid to produce low insertion forces while maintaining a large conductive surface area. The R4 version of the RADSOK represents the culmination of three years of research and development in laser welding copper-based alloys.

Adam Tech spring connectors, battery holders, battery snaps, and mobile battery connectorsAdam Tech spring connectors, battery holders, battery snaps, and mobile battery connectors are designed to create connections and contain batteries in electronic equipment. This series includes battery holders and coin cell holders for AAA, AA, C, D, 9V, and lithium coin cells. Adam Tech produces this series in a variety of terminations such as through-hole PCB leads, SMT leads, wire leads, and solder lugs. Custom lead lengths on wire configurations are also available. Our superior retention holders are molded of UL-94V0 or UL-94HB material with spring steel contacts and perform extremely well under normal or adverse environment conditions.

Battery pole and busbar connectors from Phoenix ContactBattery pole and busbar connectors from Phoenix Contact deliver fast, safe, high-power connectivity for utility and industrial scale energy storage systems. The newest generation makes installation even easier. The connectors support up to 1,500 V DC and 400 A with mechanical and color coding that prevents wiring mistakes and keeps maintenance simple. The 360° rotatable mating interface gives designers more freedom and space for additional components, while the rugged, touch-safe, IP-rated construction ensures reliability in demanding energy storage system environments. A plug-in busbar connection ensures wiring-free, high-tolerance compensation and a flexible current option. This creates a cleaner, faster, and more scalable way to build high-performance energy storage systems.

AP series board-to-board terminals from I-PEXAP series board-to-board terminals from I-PEX are small in size and carry high current by utilizing I-PEX’s unique design know-how. Compared to a conventional bus bar connection, these terminals result in the reduction of total cost and miniaturization of equipment. The design withstands the temperature rise associated with high current flow up to 125 °C, resulting in good product performance over long periods of use. The unique spring structure and high floating function guarantee high connection reliability while allowing for shaft misalignment during connector mating. These terminals are ideal for battery connectors, in-vehicle chargers, and industrial equipment used under rapidly changing environmental temperatures. They feature light weight for flexible SMT design and high current carrying ability (up to 32A) for use as power terminals. Special sizes are available upon request with spacers.

KYOCERA AVX board-to-board battery connectorsKYOCERA AVX board-to-board battery connectors include a 1.27 mm small pitch part. This new version (9155-020) has a nominal working height of 2.5-3.1 mm. This series includes 2 through 5 position connectors that are end-to-end stackable. The connectors are rated at a full 3 Amps per contact for 2 and 3 ways and 2 Amps per contact for 4 and 5 ways. The complete family of 9155 series connectors offer ultra reliable and robust gold plated beryllium copper contacts to provide high integrity connections in harsh environments, with up to 15,000 mating operations. Parts are supplied in tape-and-reel for automatic pick-and-place assembly. The 9155 series battery connector can also be customized.

Amphenol LTW (ALTW) provides battery connector solutionsAmphenol LTW (ALTW) provides battery connector solutions designed for safe, efficient, and reliable power transfer in energy storage, electric mobility, and industrial power systems. Engineered for high-current applications, ALTW battery connectors offer secure contact performance, low resistance, and durable mechanical stability under demanding operating conditions. CCS1 (Combined Charging System Type 1) from Amphenol PcdCCS1 (Combined Charging System Type 1) from Amphenol Pcd  is mainly used in the United States. It combines a J1772 (Type 1) connector with two additional direct current (DC) contacts to allow high-power DC fast charging. It features DC or Three Phase AC charging (IEC62196-2&3; J1772). Multiple configurations are available.

The One27 connector series from eptWithin inverters, connectors must accommodate challenging installation spaces and compensate for tolerances between multiple PCBs housed together. The One27 connector series from ept is designed for these conditions, supporting board-to-board distances ranging from 8 mm to 20 mm, options of 12 to 80 contacts, and a 1.4 A carrying capacity. An optional cabled version of the IDC socket is available to provide design flexibility. Using a cable connection makes it possible to compensate for tolerances in all directions, and to adapt to unique layouts and spacing requirements. The One27 contains double-sided sockets, allowing an overlapping contact of 2.4 mm. This wipe length enables the connectors to maintain their connection even under roadway vibrations and micro-movements typical of automotive environments. The One27 has also passed LV214 testing, strict automotive testing and applicable to USCAR specifications.

Hypertac Green Connect Contact Technology offers a lead-free and Beryllium-free high power contact solution with unparalleled low contact resistance. Lower contact resistance reduces heat build-up allowing the contacts to handle far greater current in smaller contact assemblies without adversely effecting temperature rise. Hypertac Green Connect’s unrivaled low contact resistance is due to the improved crimp design of the socket offering an increased contact area between the contact body and the multi-stranded cable.
