Amphenol Industrial Solar Technologies’ H4 PV Connector, supplied by RS, carries more amps than the industry standard connector. It features quick and easy secure snap-lock mating, long-term UV and ozone resistance, low contact resistance, and meets the NEC 2008/2011 standard “as is,” with no additional locking-clip required. Available in three different gauges: 25A (2.5mm2, AWG14), 35A (4.0mm2, AWG12), and 45A (6.0mm2, AWG10).
Weidmuller USA’s new models of Photovoltaic (PV) DC Combiner Boxes are designed to operate large-scale PV systems more efficiently. The PV DC Combiner Boxes with monitoring can receive up to 16 inputs and the unmonitored version can handle up to 32 inputs. This innovative solution bundles, protects, and combines PV strings more efficiently. The PV DC Combiner Boxes for High Power Panels feature bifacial solar panels with solar cells on both the front and back of the panel. The TE Connectivity SOLARLOK PV4-S connector, supplied by Avnet, is an upgrade of the i SOLARLOK PV4 connector designed to meet a minimum 1500V rating with IP68 protection. The SOLARLOK PV4-S connector has been tested to assure reliable and safe connections of solar arrays. The connectors use industry standard crimp tooling that is readily available and used by installers today.
