Schurter’s Compact Filtered AC Connector Makes Pre-Assembly Possible

Schurter’s new 5120 series filtered inlet with flexible wire leads is designed for easy installation and reduced assembly time and cost. The wire leads for current ratings 1-10A are made with wire size AWG18. For higher current requirements to 15A, a more robust wire size AWG16 is used. Standard lead length is 150mm. Custom wires in various sizes and lengths are available on request.

The 5120 provides exceptional EMC performance in a compact package. Its unique metal flange is designed to optimize shielding at the panel opening. Screw-on or snap-in types are available. The filtered inlet, Class I or II, is ideal for IT and medical appliances, according to IEC/EN 60950 and 60601-1 respectively. The 5120 series is ENEC approved at 10A 250 VAC, and 15 A at 125/250 VAC, according to UL and CSA. All versions are available for use with Schurter’s V-Lock latching cordsets.
