Mouser Electronics now stocks JST automotive connectors for global distribution to design engineers and buyers across the world. JST’s automotive product line includes a wide variety of quality connectors for use in demanding automotive applications including both sealed and unsealed connection systems.
Mouser is also stocking the Max-M12 connectors from Amphenol Industrial. Designed for use in extremely harsh environments, these rugged, high-speed data transmission connectors are built to withstand high vibration and high temperature.
HUBER+SUHNER Astrolab has been recognized by Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) for its achievements in quality and performance. Stephen Toma and Wanda Contreras from HUBER+SUHNER Astrolab were presented with the Four Star Supplier Excellence Award 2014 at Raytheon’s annual supplier conference. Award candidates are judged on multiple criteria, including overall quality, on-time delivery, and continuous improvement. HUBER+SUHNER Astrolab was one of 87 companies, selected from more than 2,000 suppliers, to be recognized.
LADD Distribution, supplier of TE Connectivity’s heavy-duty DEUTSCH, AMPSEAL, and AMPSEAL 16 electrical connectors and accessories, released a new catalog, available in print and a downloadable PDF format, which features more than 160 pages of series overviews, helpful how-to instructions, and detailed technical specifications. The in-depth information covers TE’s DEUTSCH, AMPSEAL, and AMPSEAL 16, as well as LADD Distribution’s value-added products and services.
Mouser Electronics is now shipping the new IllumiMate 1.00mm Pitch Wire-to-Board Connector System and the IllumiMate 1.25 Wire-to-Board Connector System from Molex. This ultra-narrow connector system was created to meet the demands of thinner LCD screen designs by saving more PCB space compared to existing connectors. The IllumiMate microminiature wire-to-board systems offer the smallest size and widest variety of low-power options and mating configurations of any similar system for applications such as LED TVs and PC monitors.
Molex announced that the Molex Dongguan, China facility is now registered with the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as a compliant manufacturer of Class I medical devices. Part of an ongoing process improvement plan by the Molex printed circuit products group, US FDA registration confirms the Dongguan, China site’s adherence with FDA inspections, tracking, and traceability criteria. Molex Dongguan and other Molex manufacturing facilities maintain certification in ISO 9001 quality management and ISO 14001 environmental management.
SPS – Industrial Automation Fair Guangzhou 2015 has added a hall devoted to connectivity systems, expanding the fair to more than 40,000 square feet. To be held March 11 – 15, 2015, at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou, the show adds the new Connectivity System zone to the existing Electrical Systems, Robotics and Machine Vision, and Sensor and Management zones. The expansion of the show aims to meet the developing demands of the industrial automation industry and to further assist manufacturing professionals with their sourcing.
