OPTIMUS / EN4165 connector from NicomaticOPTIMUS / EN4165 connector from Nicomatic is modular and waterproof, meeting the EMI requirements of this standard. More compact and lightweight than its circular equivalent, D38999, the EN4165 is the solution of choice to get out of the box and connect systems subjected to the most severe environments. It is stackable, suitable for panels or backplanes, ultra-modular with an almost unlimited range of contacts. EN4165 is intermixable and interchangeable with existing solutions for increased design simplicity. Developed and therefore recognized in the civil aeronautics sector, the relevance of these solutions goes beyond this market and allows Nicomatic to offer standardized connectors adapted by their performance to the military and railway markets, among many others.

HDC series, a product from Huafeng Smiths InterconnectHDC series, a product from Huafeng Smiths Interconnect, is a standard, heavy duty, modular connector series that conforms to IEC60664 and IEC61984 standards. Through the combination of different modules selected by the designer, the connector can handle different signal types such as power, signal, and data, without the need for separate connections. This flexibility makes the HDC series suitable for the electrical, optical, radio frequency, high-voltage, high-current, high-speed transmission for rail transportation, heavy machinery, wind energy, power systems, and photovoltaic and engineering equipment industries.

KN01 Series from JAEThe KN01 Series from JAE is a large yet lightweight and high-density waterproof rectangular connector. This connector is ideal for industrial equipment that must be resilient against environmental conditions, such as robotics, automated machinery, and machine tools. The KN01 Series can be used for a wide range of applications with an insert structure that can be customized to comply with various pin counts by configuring the different insulator blocks. The rack and pinion system locking lever enables mating and unmating with minimum effort. The KN01 Series can be used as an I/O connector for a wide range of general devices over various markets requiring multi-contact wiring.

Amphenol’s D-Sub connectorsQualified to MIL-DTL-24308, Amphenol’s D-Sub connectors offered by Avnet are sub-miniature rack and panel type connectors with polarized shells. They use pin and socket machined contacts that provide high reliability and density for the connectors. With a versatile design, these high-performance connectors are used in a variety of applications where size and weight are critical factors.

Molex GWconnect Heavy Duty Connectors (HDC)Molex GWconnect Heavy Duty Connectors (HDC) supplied by TTI Inc. are designed for heavy-duty industrial applications. The connectors are suitable for use with AC or DC and facilitate the manufacturing process, installation, and maintenance of sectional electric parts in complex machinery. These heavy-duty connector enclosures are suitable for various industrial installations in standard, harsh, and EMC environments. The inserts in self-extinguishing thermoplastic material UL94V0 are available with screw terminals, screw terminals with terminal block, spring terminals, crimp terminals, and push-in terminals. Molex GWconnect HDCs are designed with top-quality materials and conform to international standards and UL/CSA requirements. They are comprised of die-cast aluminum alloy with either a polyester powder (nickel-plated for EMC versions) finish or a self-extinguishing thermoplastic. The connectors are ideally used for electric and electronic machinery, robots, electric panels, control equipment and power, and control or signal circuit connectivity.

Versatys miniature power connectors from Axon’ CableDerived from Micro-D technology, Versatys miniature power connectors from Axon’ Cable represent an ideal solution for weight and space saving. At 40% smaller than D-Sub connectors, Versatys power connectors supply electrical and electronic devices for satellites, aircraft, or armored vehicles. Axon’ miniature power connectors offer the same performance as D-Sub connectors. Versatys compact power connectors give customers greater design flexibility. Removable contacts and fast-locking connector versions make integration with customer equipment easier and faster. No need to change the whole connector if only one line is damaged. Just one click is needed to mate miniature power connectors equipped with the D-Click fast-latching system.

Phoenix Contacts’ HEAVYCONUnder Phoenix Contacts’ HEAVYCON are thousands of different components that can be used to create over 70 million different product combinations. Many common application requirements can be satisfied with a select set of components. That is where HeavyCORE comes in. HeavyCORE is a new program focusing on the products that yield the most “bang for your buck” by focusing mainly on Phoenix Contact technology that helps boost productivity. Utilizing HeavyCORE components to fulfill design needs has several advantages, including the best stock position and availability, as well as Phoenix Contact technology that boosts productivity, reduces inventory liability, and provides additional versatility during assembly and installation.

AirBorn’s SInergyAirBorn’s SInergy family of connectors offers OEMs a mini-modular hybrid solution in 1-5 configurable bays. With speeds up to 25 Gb/s per lane, SInergy can support Xaui (3.125), USB3.0 (15 Gb/s), and QSFP (30 Gb/s) applications. Exemplifying mil-grade resilience, this high-speed, high-density connector is tested and qualified based on MIL-DTL-83513 performance requirements. Ideal for mil-aero, space, and industrial applications, SInergy’s four points-of-contact will handle a very rough ride. Configure SInergy with interchangeable locking, jacking, or guide hardware with SMT signal termination.

Cinch’s C-ENX line of connectorsCinch’s C-ENX line of connectors designed to EN4644 is the next generation aerospace connector. C-ENX connectors allow optimized stacking of connectors and thereby reduce space compared to circular connectors. They are also modular which reduces rework and complexity because the same panel cutout is used on all variations and the same shell cavities for all inserts. Configurations are available for signal, power, data, RF, fiber. C-ENX connectors are comprised of an outer protective shell, sealed inserts, machined contacts, and backshells where required. Shells are available for disconnect and rack and panel applications. Shells are made from aluminum or nickel-plated composite. Disconnects for harnesses connecting to panels and rack and panel for panel-to-panel connections. Inserts position the contacts, prevent electrical shortages, and provide an environmental seal against corrosive fluids. The contacts are available for crimping and soldering to PCBs. Backshells are available for strain relief and EMI protection.
