Hirose Appoints Tats Arai GM of International Sales & Operations and Yasushi Nakamura President and COO of Hirose USA
Hirose New Appointments
Hirose Electric announced a series of management changes within the company designed to provide the foundation necessary to fuel future growth and success. Tats Arai has been named the new general manager of the International Sales and Operation Business Unit (ISOBU). Mr. Arai is responsible for all international sales and operations outside of manufacturing. He will be transferred back to Japan shortly and will be based out of Hirose’s corporate sales and engineering office in Yokohama, Japan.
Yasushi Nakamura, formerly the senior vice president of Hirose USA, has been appointed to succeed Mr. Arai as president and COO with the full responsibility for the Hirose USA business. Mr. Nakamura joined Hirose Electric in 1985 and has been working at Hirose USA since 1991. He has B.A. from Kwansei Gakuin University and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
