DIN 41612 3Q/3R-Type Connector Saves Space

HARTING has introduced DIN 41612 3Q/3R-type female connectors for industrial applications. The new types are only a third of the size of a regular DIN connector, reducing the space required for small-scale applications. They are available with or without a fastening clip and are particularly designed for connecting two circuit boards located perpendicular to or alongside each other. 3B, 3C, 3Q and 3R type plugs are also available to fit. Through Hole Reflow (THR) and wave soldering technology can be used for connecting to the circuit board. The 20 or 30 contacts with compact 2.54mm spacing can each take up to 2A.
