binder’s new angled M5 panel mount connectors are engineered for applications needing compact, durable solutions, opening new opportunities in fields like automation, robotics, and measurement and control technology. In applications such as circuit board assembly, every millimeter matters. Increasingly, custom connector systems are needed for use in the smallest of spaces. The angled M5 panel mount connectors form a crucial part of the connector system, enabling mechanical and electrical connections in tight spaces. The application areas are aimed at markets where high reliability and robustness are required, such as industrial camera technology, sensors for automation, analytical devices, cobots, and drones. Barely visible to the naked eye are the spread positioning pins, which ensure optimal twist protection on the circuit board even before soldering. Another quality feature is the recessed O-ring, which ensures a reliable seal with the housing. The O-ring is precisely pressed against the housing when the panel mount connector is connected, ensuring an optimal sealing effect. This eliminates the risk of damaging the seal by over-tightening.

Amphenol RF’s TNC product series now includes additional configurations in both standard and reverse-polarity. These new cable-mount connector options are designed specifically to accommodate flexible micro-coaxial cable types including 0.81, 1.32, and 1.37 mm and RG-178. TNC connectors feature the secure threaded coupling mechanism which allows for increased reliability in vibration-intense applications such as industrial equipment, wireless infrastructure, military communications, and broadband technology. TNC and RP-TNC connectors optimized for micro-coax cable types are manufactured with nickel-plated, brass bodies and gold-plated, beryllium copper or brass contacts. They are designed with a hex-shaped coupling nut which allows for a wrench to be used for easy tightening and untightening. and available in straight and right-angle plug and jack configurations. Bulkhead mount versions are also available. TNC connectors operate at 50 ohms and provide reliable electrical performance up to 11 GHz. The combination of versatility and durability allow them to be used across industries and applications.

Harwin’s innovative and highly intuitive standalone cable configurator, was developed in conjunction with Cadenas, a leading software developer in the areas of strategic parts management and parts reduction. The online Harwin Cable Configurator significantly reduces the time that engineers spend designing cable assemblies by allowing them to develop “right-first-time” configurations online that are then delivered ready-made for use. The easy-to-navigate program is fully integrated into Harwin’s automated processes and allows engineers to quickly develop fully functional configurations that are guaranteed to be to specification and can be supplied with very short delivery times. Users can configure Harwin’s high-performance, high-reliability connectors in a single- or double-ended cable assembly by simply selecting a few key design parameters. A 3D render created in real time can then be downloaded along with a technical drawing, a full bill of materials, and the option to request a quote. Dedicated product specialists will then confirm prices and lead time, which is typically a matter of days. If necessary, users can also reverse engineer designs to generate configurations and quotes for existing solutions.

WR600, a carbon-fiber-reinforced, PFA-based composite featuring outstanding chemical, impact, and thermal shock resistance from Greene Tweed can withstand continuous service temperatures up to 500 °F (260 °C) and is ideal for stationary wear rings for static applications; pump applications in refineries, chemical plants, power plants, and water treatment plants; as well as all types of centrifugal pumps. WR600 withstands the strongest acids, bases, halogens, and solvents. Its non-galling properties facilitate extended periods of dry running during upset conditions. Featuring excellent impact and thermal shock resistance, WR® 600 tolerates rapid startup or shutdown without the risk of fracture or pump failure. Components made of WR®600 run tighter clearances than traditional metallic materials, reducing recirculation and improving efficiency. This results in substantial energy savings, extended service life, and improved mean time between repairs.
