Aries Electronics Announces Distribution Contract with SMD
Aries Electronics announced it has authorized SMD Inc. of Irvine, Calif., to distribute the company’s full range of electronic connector products throughout the US through the distributor’s locations in Southern California, New Hampshire, and Florida. SMD is a provider of electronics and electrical components, services, and logistic solutions for industrial manufacturing companies in North America.
The announcement comes on the heels of SMD’s recent acquisition of Prime Electro Products of Manhattan Beach, Calif., a long time distributor of Aries products.
“Aries has one of the broadest product offerings in the socket and adapter market,” said Rich Unruh, president, SAD. “Adding their products to our interconnect offering is a great compliment to our existing line card and gives us one of the leaders in the business.
