Bernd Richter GmbH, an Amphenol company, demonstrates its advanced capabilities in the development of hybrid silicone round cables engineered for demanding applications such as endoscopic devices. These high-performance cable systems withstand over 500 autoclave cycles, ensuring reliability in environments with strict hygiene requirements. The specialized material composition provides a non-sticky, easy-to-handle surface, while the compact design supports small conductor sizes down to AWG40. Even under mechanical torsion and continuous bending, these cable systems maintain stable performance and long service life. With their high-density structure and a design approach focused on miniaturization, these systems offer outstanding ergonomics and handling characteristics for use in high demand applications.

CABLINE-CX II connector from I-PEX has a 0.25 mm staggered pitch and is available in two different profile heights: 1.00 mm maximum height with optional mechanical lock cover offers 360° EMI shielding and 0.78 mm maximum height with optional mechanical lock bar. This horizontal-mating-type connector can accommodate a mix of micro-coaxial or discrete cables in one cable assembly harness and meets ISO/TS 17665-2 autoclave test. Its ultra-small size makes it very suitable for portable medical devices and applications with very tight bend/flex requirements for harnesses.
