COAX Connectors’ RF connectors are precision designed and manufactured to provide reliable performance. A wide variety of RF connector interfaces are available to suit different applications. For connectors that need to operate and survive in the harshest of environments, materials such as stainless steel can provide functional benefits. COAX RF connectors are supplied in various surface finishes, and most are available in IP68 versions. COAX Connectors SMA Reverse Polarity (RP) Jack to SMB Jack IP68 Hermetically Sealed Bulkhead Inter Series Adaptor is available in brass or stainless steel and various surface finishes.
Flexorad from Axon’ Cable is a new range of RF cables for research and nuclear markets. Thanks to the successful development of an innovative dielectric and its unique in-house processing technology, Flexorad offers flexibility, resistance to high temperature and radiation, and very good electrical performance, while being flame retardant and halogen-free. This 6-in-1 range of RF cables is much more flexible than any equivalent products made with PEEK and polyimides in the market. (Test results achieved according to EN3475-704 and EN3475-512.) Flexorad flexible RF cables can be customized to meet customer needs: single or double screen, resistant up to 125 °C and 150 °C. Triax, alternate shield construction, alternate jacket, or any variant using an existing core can be easily designed. The cables can also be delivered terminated with standard coaxial connectors.

Durability and excellent frequency performance is designed into every product on this line with the bonus of being made with very phase stable materials.
1.85mm RF connectors, available at PEI-Genesis from Cinch Johnson and Amphenol SV Microwave, are precision coaxial connectors designed for high-frequency applications, boasting a frequency range of up to 67 GHz or higher. Their compact size, threaded coupling mechanism, and excellent VSWR and insertion loss characteristics make them ideal for space-constrained environments and applications requiring frequent connections.
Nitrowave, Samtec’s new flexible, low-loss microwave coaxial cable product line, demonstrates outstanding amplitude and phase stability in Test & Measurement equipment, as well as 5G datacom, defense, aerospace, and computer/semiconductor applications. The inclusion of an interlayer enables consistent electrical performance throughout the cable’s lifespan, while the low-density PTFE dielectric material ensures mechanical robustness. Performance is optimized to 43.5 GHz with a maximum VSWR of 1.4:1. During product development, frequency capability was purposefully designed to go beyond traditional industry targets in support of advancing applications and spectrum allocation, allowing for 30% better insertion loss performance at next-generation frequencies. State-of-the-art shielding techniques, with consistent contact resistance between layers, result in 100 dB minimum shielding effectiveness against electromagnetic interference (per IEC 61000-4-21 specifications). Connector end options include SMA plug or SMA bulkhead jack (to 26.5 GHz), or 2.92 mm and 2.4 mm plugs (to 43.5 GHz).
Winchester’s MVP connector series is ideal for applications in a wide range of industries including Military/Aerospace and Industrial. Connectors are available in 2.92 mm, SMA, TNC, and Type N interfaces, and most threaded RF connectors to provide a reliable interconnect in the most demanding vibration and moisture environments. Thread provides equal loading of each thread, eliminating loading of the first few threads mitigating loss of preload. Once pre-load is lost, a standard coupling nut will spin freely. MVP prevailing torque has a proven 1-5 oz-in friction mechanism that is simple and effective, eliminating the need for lock wires. IP68 rating is addressed with a clamp nut and O-ring that provide a watertight seal to the cable jacket. Strain relief of the cable is provided by a simple slide-on boot that snaps securely to the connector. MVP assemblies feature solder clamp and three-piece attachment design configurations for high frequency performance.
