JST ADH Series for High-Density LEDs

The JST ADH Series of crimp-style, wire-to-board, subminiature connectors are ideal for high-density LED applications.

JST ADH Series for High-Density LEDsJST‘s new ADH Series wire-to-board, crimp-style, disconnectable connectors offer subminiature size, design flexibility, and reliable contact construction for high-density applications. These 1.3mm (.051″) pitch, side-entry (right-angle), SMT connectors are polarized and have a secure friction-locking feature when mated. An excellent connector for high density LED light applications, the ADH Series is designed for maximum PCB flexibility with a mated height of only 1.9mm (.075″). Their unique design features a socket half that is mated with the header from the vertical direction while wires come out of the socket in the horizontal direction. This unique construction allows for the placement of the header anywhere on the PCB, which enables components to be placed all around the header without causing mating concerns.

The ADH crimp style connector series is available in three circuits with a 3.0A (AC/DC) rating using a 26AWG wire at 50V AC/DC. Wire sizes AWG #28 to 26 are accommodated. Temperature range is -25ºC to +85ºC including temperature rise in applying electrical current. Headers are molded of RoHS-compliant 94V-0 PBT material and feature insertion guides for easy and secure mating.

The ADH Series contacts are designed to accommodate a wire range of 28AWG to 26AWG and are gold-plated over nickel undercoated copper alloy base material. Contacts are offered on standard-size reels for semi-automatic or fully automatic application tooling. SMT headers are provided on embossed tape for automatic insertion equipment.
