HARTING Han-Modular Hinge-Framed HMC
The HARTING Han-Modular Hinge-Framed HMC enables the integration of Han-Modular components into HMC connectors.
The increasing modularization of industrial production facilities and the rise in mobile equipment required has resulted in growing demand for connectors capable of high mating cycles (HMC). HARTING‘s new Han-Modular Hinged-frame HMC now enables the integration of Han-Modular components into HMC connectors.
The new Han-Modular Hinged-frame HMC is designed to handle more than 10,000 mating cycles. It sets itself apart from conventional hinged frames in terms of the PE contact. The contact is specially plated and boasts increased fixation stability in the hinged frame.
Since the Han HMC housing provides IP65 protection, the new HMC hinged frame also opens up new application fields for Han-Modular. Not only can Han-Modular connectors be plugged and unplugged thousands of times, but the modules in HMC housings are also well-protected against mechanical loads, contact, and dust accumulation as well as water spray.
