JAE developed the MA07 Series USB and DisplayPort transmission-compatible connector and harness solution to address the increasing demand for transmitting video signals between ECUs and displays, and for communicating with PCs, smartphones, and gaming devices in the car. Tested to USCAR2 specifications, MA07 USB 3.2 Gen 2, with maximum bandwidth of 20 GB/s (10 GB/s x 2 lanes) and DisplayPort 1.4 with maximum bandwidth 32.4 Gb/s (8.1 Gb/s x 4 lanes). The receptacle is available in tape-and-reel packaging and is through-hole reflow compatible. Plug and inline receptacles are supplied as a complete harness. MA07 features a robust structure with outer housing to prevent slanted insertion and four types of key variations to prevent mismating. STP cable is used for high-speed transmission lines.
