This week’s Product Roundup highlights MIL-Aero sensors and connectors from leading connector manufacturers and suppliers.

MIL-Aero Sensors & Sensor Connectors

Nicomatic’s CMM seriesNicomatic’s CMM series is a trusted choice for integrators and system designers working on MIL-approved sensors. These 2 mm pitch connectors are compliant with MIL-DTL-83513 and offer a high level of modularity, signal integrity, and resistance to shock, vibration, and extreme temperatures. Whether you’re building optical sensors, pressure detectors, or IMUs for harsh environments, the CMM connector range ensures optimal performance and reliability, even in the most demanding conditions. CMM features up to 120 signal contacts or mixed signal/power/shielding in a lightweight, compact format.

TE Connectivity's 44900 series temperature sensors, supplied by AvnetTE Connectivity’s 44900 series temperature sensors, supplied by Avnet, are space qualified epoxy encapsulated precision interchangeable NTC thermistors for use in extended space flight applications. All parts are fully flight tested and characterized. They are line requalified yearly per MIL-PRF-23648 requirements as specified in S311-P18 document.

SV Microwave’s new line of Select on Test Space AttenuatorsSV Microwave’s new line of Select on Test Space Attenuators are designed to fine-tune RF power levels in satellite microwave circuits. Featuring SMP male-to-male and male-to-female configurations, these attenuators are rated to work through 40 GHz at various attenuation values. Their SMP interface offers a smaller diameter and lightweight option to threaded connectorized attenuators.

The low-profile Fischer LP360, supplied by Kensington Electronics Inc., is a miniaturized active device, a fastening mechanism, and an electrical signal and power connection all in one. Serving as a smart network enabler in wearable and IoT ecosystems. The panel plug can be easily extended to multifunctional wearables such as biometric sensors, communication systems, GPS, lighting and bodycams.

TE Connectivity’s tamper detection sensor is a custom-designed PVDF film sensor that can be wrapped or folded around an object for protection against tampering. Tampering attempts can be detected and reported for any breach of a physical perimeter established around a defined asset. This includes breaches caused by cutting tools, drills, thermal attacks, projectiles, and chemical attacks. It can also detect and report any attempt to remove, alter, bypass, disconnect, or disturb the tamper detection sensor itself, including interference from solvents, mechanical peeling, short circuits, rewiring, and alteration of output signals. These custom tamper detection sensors are designed to achieve FIPS 140-2 level 4 physical security compliance to meet specific requirements.
