The NPIs added in Q4 2025 include WAGO’s second-generation edge computers that enable engineers and enterprise software developers to run their own internal applications for heavy data processing, such as machine learning; Hirose’s FX31 series floating high-current connector that supports up to 25A/800V per pin and the FX31 series with vibration resistance, misalignment tolerance, and stable performance up to +125 °C; and Samtec’s NitroWave high-performance RF microwave cable assemblies that are optimized for frequencies beyond traditional industry standards to meet the requirements of the aerospace, defense, datacom, computer, semiconductor, and instrumentation markets.

Weidmuller USA unveiled WM4 C PV connectorsWeidmuller USA unveiled WM4 C PV connectors for advanced solar applications. With robust and reliable crimp contacts that support up to 1500V, these UL- and CSA-approved PV connectors are compatible with residential, commercial, and utility-scale photovoltaic systems. They are rated up to IP67 and feature a robust crimp connection that ensures no power is lost from panels. An anti-tampering locking mechanism prevents accidental damage and reduces downtime. As an added benefit, Weidmuller offers two styles of PV connectors—coupling connectors for panels and panel receptacle connectors for combiner boxes and monitoring boxes—along with a full complement of tools and accessories.

TE Connectivity’s LUMAWISE Endurance bridge assemblyDesigned to bridge the connectivity between remotely mounted sensors or control devices and a luminaire, the TE Connectivity’s LUMAWISE Endurance bridge assembly extends the relevance of the Zhaga-D4i ecosystem beyond the form factor of a cobra head luminaire. LUMAWISE Endurance bridge is a pole mounted housing that is both functional and aesthetically fitting for modern and historic luminaires. It features one to two Zhaga interfaces, upwards and/or downwards facing, per bracket. It features built-in surge protection on both DALI and auxiliary lines and it is IP66 and IK09 rated. Also new, TE’s low profile 2 Position connectors are highly suitable for ultra-thin, high current display applications, across a wide range of uses, from TVs and major home appliances applications, to HVAC and industrial control boards, among others. With operating current up to 15A, the low profile 2P connector can be used in reflow and wave soldering to support a wide range of application requirements.

Cardinal Multi-Port High-Frequency Coaxial Assemblies from MolexCardinal Multi-Port High-Frequency Coaxial Assemblies from Molex , extend the proven Cardinal family into the high-bandwidth spectrum demanded by next-generation AI architectures and 6G wireless infrastructure. The solution supports frequencies up to 145 GHz and data characterization rates up to 448 Gb/s. As 6G research and AI backhaul push beyond 110 GHz, the new Cardinal assemblies can handle signals previously out of reach for standard coaxial interfaces. The result: engineers can validate the silicon and networking protocols that will define the next decade of global connectivity—without changing platforms. These assemblies feature phase-matched, high-precision connectivity to support versatile, scalable test solutions for high-speed datacom, 5G/6G, mmWave radar, and other advanced applications.

KYOCERA AVX introduced FloXY, its floating board-to-board connector line

KYOCERA AVX introduced FloXY, its floating board-to-board connector line, which has been heavily evaluated in industries requiring high reliability, including the automotive market. Kyocera’s floating connectors can be selected from variations of a board parallel connection type with a pitch of 0.4 to 0.635 mm and a mounting height of 3.5 to 20 mm, and a type that connects boards vertically. These products solve many issues, including the need to divide and stack printed circuit boards to reduce enclosure size, cracks occurring during mating when using rigid connectors, misalignment during connector mounting that prevents proper mating, connector damage caused by forced mating, increased component count and assembly processes when using flexible printed circuit boards or cables.

Amphenol RF’s new IP67 FAKRA straight crimp rear mount bulkhead plug.Amphenol RF’s new IP67 FAKRA straight crimp rear mount bulkhead plug. This plug is designed to support industry-standard RG-178 cable, is color-coded and mechanically keyed for easy installation, and is available in a variety of key codes including the universal Z code. Amphenol RF FAKRA interconnects are ideal for applications like GPS, ADAS, and communications. This rear mount bulkhead plug allows the connector to mount through a panel or enclosure wall, providing a stable and secure connection. It’s sealed in both the mated and unmated condition, ensuring the system remains safe from external influences. A gasket seals the interface while an O-ring seal sits between the flange and panel mount for added security. The plug is engineered with a ruggedized, plastic housing over a nickel-plated diecast zinc alloy body and flange. It features a gold-plated brass center contact and a nickel-plated copper ferrule. This 50 ohm FAKRA plug ensures reliability with high-frequency data transmission up to 6 GHz. Standard straight crimp die sets are used to terminate the connector to the cable.
