HARTING M12 PushPull Connector for Railway Industry
The HARTING M12 PushPull connector is easy to handle and has low spatial requirements.
HARTING responded to the railway industry’s need for lower-current systems by developing the M12 PushPull connector.
The safety demands made on train technology have also resulted in a need for connectors that are easy to handle and service-friendly. A high level of vibration resistance is a key criterion, and the end position of the locking device must always be clearly identifiable. The system must be compatible with the device side to enable use of the standard M12 with screw lock on the cable side.
The M12 PushPull solution represents an entirely new HARTING technology for this sector and features an M12 connector on the cable side based on HARTING’s M12 SlimDesign. The result is an M12 connector with push-pull locking that audibly clicks and is easier to handle in the field.
The device-side housing can accommodate a standard M12 connector with screw lock as well as the HARTING M12 PushPull. It is easy and intuitive to use. Torque does not need to be considered to ensure secure contact. Less space is required as the connector does not have to be twisted to be locked and unlocked.
