announced the availability of LIQUID-TUFF UL Splash Zone Liquidtight Flexible Conduit, with a rugged polyvinyl chloride (PVC) jacket designed to inhibit bacteria growth and withstand cleaning and sterilization using bleach – with no jacket degradation.
Designed to meet NSF169 commercial food equipment standards for splash zones in food production areas, the cable’s moisture-, oil-, and sunlight-resistant jacket is ideal for meat packing, restaurants, food processing, poultry packing, and pharmaceutical applications.
LIQUID-TUFF UL Splash Zone Liquidtight Flexible Conduit is available in both steel and non-metallic versions, and is perfect for use as a raceway for NSF169 special-purpose food equipment and devices. Constructed of a zinc-coated, galvanized low-carbon steel strip, the Liquidtight Flexible Steel Conduit is covered by a jacket with a proprietary PVC formulation that inhibits bacterial growth, ensuring sterilized conditions and eliminating contamination in food and medicine production.
Manufactured and tested in accordance with Harmonized Underwriters Laboratories Inc. Standard UL 1660, the conduit carries the UL listing mark and the NSF169 component certification logo.
