The NETGEAR M4350-16M4V switch employs industry-standard NEUTRIK locking connectors throughout: etherCON for network, opticalCON for fiber, and powerCON for power. This ensures connections are secure before or during any performance and prevents disruption to any live event. Neutrik Group Americas will feature its NEUTRIK opticalBAR fiber breakout solution along with its opticalCON ADVANCED line of connector products at NAB 2026 (Booth C4735). Smart fiber distribution allows centralized management of multiple signals across a broadcast facility or between sites. The NEUTRIK opticalBAR is a compact, rugged fiber breakout solution that is IP65-rated when mated or capped, and is designed for professional fiber distribution, including connections to camera systems, audio networks, DMX, and intercom systems. Fully compatible with the opticalCON ADVANCED series, the opticalBAR is available in five different variants for single mode (SM), multimode (MM), with a range of connection points such as opticalCON QUAD SM and MM, opticalCON DUO SM and MM connectors, and opticalCON MTP 12 SM and MM.

The VITA 87 connectors feature MT-based fiber optic technology in MIL-DTL-38999 Series III packaging. The AV87 series supports up to 192 fibers in a compact size-15 shell with 4 MTs. Shell sizes 11, 13, and 15 are available. The connectors accommodate both physical contact (PC) and expanded beam (EB) MT ferrule configurations, enabling flexibility for single-mode and multimode applications. With three levels of alignment precision, shell-to-shell, insert-to-insert, and MT guide pin alignment, the VITA 87 series delivers reliable performance across applications, including military radars, avionics, airborne electronic warfare systems, and commercial airframe platforms. Operating over a temperature range of -46 °C to +85 °C with low insertion loss specifications, the AFSI VITA 87 connectors support the demanding requirements of harsh-environment aerospace and defense applications while maintaining compatibility with MIL-DTL-38999 Series III accessories.

Lastly, building on the success of the award-winning VersaBeam EBO interconnect solutions, the VersaBeam EBO Backplane Connector consolidates up to 192 fibers into a single, compact interface. By moving connectivity to a pre-configured optical backplane, it enables “blind” installation of cards and sleds, forming optical connections in mass and utilizes expanded beam optical (EBO) technology to reduce sensitivity to dust and debris. The result dramatically reduces cleaning, inspection, and maintenance requirements, slashing deployment time by up to 85%.

Non-magnetic SMPM connectors utilize a gold-plated beryllium copper body and contact along with a PTFE insulator, ensuring excellent electrical conductivity. They prevent potential hazards that come from magnetic interference and ensure that RF signals are not compromised in critical medical technology such as magnetic resonance angiography (MRA), MRI scanners, medical imaging components and surgical instrumentation.

While this optimization is necessary for any high-current application, the modules have more advantages by using ODU LAMTAC Flex contacts, a minimum of 100,000 mating cycles, and decreased mating forces of up to 10 N. This safe, highly reliable, and durable high-current interface is ideal for use in AGVs/AMRs where the ODU-MAC Silver-Line is the interface between robot and the station, or high-power applications in general. Of course, the new modules can be combined with regular ODU-MAC Silver-/White-Line modules to create a modular connector specifically adapted to any customer requirement.

Würth Elektronik’s WSEN-PDMSWürth Elektronik’s WSEN-PDMS is a new highly accurate differential pressure sensor for a multitude of operating scenarios. The sensor operates with an accuracy of ±1 mbar and a resolution of 16 bits, supports a broad voltage range from 3.0 V up to 5.5 V, and is compatible both with digital I²C and SPI communication interfaces as well as an analog interface. Two different casing versions make the sensor particularly versatile: vertical straight nozzles for connection with pressure adapters and horizontal barbed nozzles for tube connection. This flexibility makes both system integration and prototype development much easier to accomplish. The WSEN-PDMS sensor is compatible with a broad range of microcontrollers and embedded systems. It delivers fully calibrated differential-pressure data as well as optional temperature measurements and operates reliably in a temperature range from -25 °C to +85 °C. Optionally the transmitted measurement results can be complemented by additional CRC bits, thus enabling reliable and robust communication.

The two modules differ only in terms of their firmware: Proteus-IV is a ready-to-use Bluetooth low-energy 6.0 module with preinstalled firmware, while Ophelia-IV is a flexible developer platform without a specific preinstalled firmware. Individual firmware options for a variety of radio protocols, including proprietary ones, can be developed using nRF Connect SDK and in the Zephyr RTOS (real-time operating system). Measuring just 8 × 12 × 2.3 mm, the compact radio modules, equipped with a 1.5 MB flash and 256 KB RAM, are based on the new nRF54L15 SoC from Nordic. This chip integrates a 128 MHz arm-cortex M33 processor, an RISC-V coprocessor, and a power-saving 2.4 GHz multiprotocol radio chip. The Bluetooth LE 6.0, Matter, Thread, Zigbee, NFC, and IEEE 802.15.4 radio protocols can be used, as can also proprietary 2.4 GHz protocols.
