Neutrik Group Americas partnered with NETGEAR to incorporate its locking etherCON, opticalCON, and powerCON connections into its new M4350-16M4V switch. The NETGEAR M4350-16M4V switch employs industry-standard NEUTRIK locking connectors throughout: etherCON for network, opticalCON for fiber, and powerCON for power. This ensures connections are secure before or during any performance and prevents disruption to any live event. Neutrik Group Americas will feature its NEUTRIK opticalBAR fiber breakout solution along with its opticalCON ADVANCED line of connector products at NAB 2026 (Booth C4735). Smart fiber distribution allows centralized management of multiple signals across a broadcast facility or between sites. The NEUTRIK opticalBAR is a compact, rugged fiber breakout solution that is IP65-rated when mated or capped, and is designed for professional fiber distribution, including connections to camera systems, audio networks, DMX, and intercom systems. Fully compatible with the opticalCON ADVANCED series, the opticalBAR is available in five different variants for single mode (SM), multimode (MM), with a range of connection points such as opticalCON QUAD SM and MM, opticalCON DUO SM and MM connectors, and opticalCON MTP 12 SM and MM.

Interstate Connecting Components (ICC) introduced Amphenol Fiber Systems VITA 87 high-density circular MT connectors. This addition expands ICC’s fiber optic connectivity portfolio and provides design teams with compact, high-fiber-count solutions for mission-critical applications. The VITA 87 connectors feature MT-based fiber optic technology in MIL-DTL-38999 Series III packaging. The AV87 series supports up to 192 fibers in a compact size-15 shell with 4 MTs. Shell sizes 11, 13, and 15 are available. The connectors accommodate both physical contact (PC) and expanded beam (EB) MT ferrule configurations, enabling flexibility for single-mode and multimode applications. With three levels of alignment precision, shell-to-shell, insert-to-insert, and MT guide pin alignment, the VITA 87 series delivers reliable performance across applications, including military radars, avionics, airborne electronic warfare systems, and commercial airframe platforms. Operating over a temperature range of -46 °C to +85 °C with low insertion loss specifications, the AFSI VITA 87 connectors support the demanding requirements of harsh-environment aerospace and defense applications while maintaining compatibility with MIL-DTL-38999 Series III accessories.

With its Not Connected Closed (NCC) family, binder sets a new benchmark in connector protection. These circular connectors seal out dust, dirt, and moisture — even when unmated. Available in series 670 (subminiature) and 770 (miniature), including dedicated medical versions, NCC delivers proven robustness, high ingress protection, and effortless handling in one powerful solution. What makes NCC connectors unique is that the contacts of the female panel mount connector are protected by an integrated, spring-loaded plastic cover that automatically seals the interface as soon as the connector is unmated, effectively preventing the ingress of dirt, dust, and liquids. Series 670 achieves a degree of protection of IP54 when unmated and IP67 when mated, while series 770 provides IP67 protection in both conditions. This makes the connectors ideal for applications that require frequent mating and unmating without compromising interface protection. Applications include automation, medical technology, Test & Measurement, laboratory environments, and lighting.

TE Connectivity’s E410 and ES410 series relays are MIL-PRF-83536-qualified and designed to support power management, signal routing, and system control for the most demanding defense and aerospace applications, including commercial and military aircraft, naval vessels, ground combat vehicles, rail systems, and space applications. Key design features include welded, hermetically sealed enclosures that provide non-corrosive protection against environmental contaminants, 4 Form C (4PDT) contact configurations for versatile switching, and mechanical life ratings of up to 400,000 cycles for extended service intervals. The relays are available with multiple mounting and terminal styles to support diverse installation needs, while maintaining a compact footprint as small as 1.025″ x 1.025″ x 1.010″.

Hirose’s popular ix Industrial Series now includes a field-assembly plug that enables flexible, on‑site cabling for new and modified Ethernet networks. The field-assembly plug version allows devices to be added, moved, or replaced quickly without rewiring entire cabinets, supporting modular machine design and Industry 4.0/IIoT architectures. Unlike regular IDC plugs, technicians can assemble and terminate the field assembly ix Industrial connector without a dedicated tool or predetermined cable lengths, reducing labor time and wasted cable material costs. The ix Industrial field-assembly plug offers high-density mounting, reducing installation space requirements via 11.60 mm parallel pitch mounting. The ix Industrial field assembly plug offers the same benefits as the traditional versions and is available in vertical, right-angle, and upright right-angle (flag type) variations to support a wide range of space-constrained applications. The ix Industrial field-assembly plug is currently available in A and B keyings for the IX30 (26-28AWG) and IX31 (24-25AWG) versions.

Molex introduced three new solutions at OCS 2026. Molex expanded its co-packaged optics (CPO) interconnect toolkit designed to eliminate the most critical bottlenecks in AI cluster scaling. The CPO toolkit delivers high density optical connectivity that helps AI data centers scale bandwidth while improving reliability and system level power efficiency. Additionally, the High-Radix Optical Circuit Switch (OCS) Platform delivers a complete optical switching fabric to meet emerging data requirements. By providing flexible, high-density optical switching, AI infrastructure operators can dynamically reconfigure network topologies and maximize utilization of valuable compute resources. Lastly, building on the success of the award-winning VersaBeam EBO interconnect solutions, the VersaBeam EBO Backplane Connector consolidates up to 192 fibers into a single, compact interface. By moving connectivity to a pre-configured optical backplane, it enables “blind” installation of cards and sleds, forming optical connections in mass and utilizes expanded beam optical (EBO) technology to reduce sensitivity to dust and debris. The result dramatically reduces cleaning, inspection, and maintenance requirements, slashing deployment time by up to 85%.

Amphenol RF expanded its non-magnetic connector portfolio with additional SMPM connectors. Engineered with non-ferrous materials and available in smooth bore and full detent configurations compatible with existing non-magnetic bullet adapters for a full board-to-board solution,  these connectors can be used in applications with space constraints such as MRI, quantum computing, and instrumentation equipment. Non-magnetic SMPM connectors utilize a gold-plated beryllium copper body and contact along with a PTFE insulator, ensuring excellent electrical conductivity. They prevent potential hazards that come from magnetic interference and ensure that RF signals are not compromised in critical medical technology such as magnetic resonance angiography (MRA), MRI scanners, medical imaging components and surgical instrumentation.

ODU’s new ODU-MAC Silver-/White-Line high-current modules come with extra features to ensure safe robot-human interaction. Up to 255 A and 2.5 kV (PD 2) call for an increase in clearance and creepage. Additionally, IP2X touch-protection has been added to the pin side. While this optimization is necessary for any high-current application, the modules have more advantages by using ODU LAMTAC Flex contacts, a minimum of 100,000 mating cycles, and decreased mating forces of up to 10 N. This safe, highly reliable, and durable high-current interface is ideal for use in AGVs/AMRs where the ODU-MAC Silver-Line is the interface between robot and the station, or high-power applications in general. Of course, the new modules can be combined with regular ODU-MAC Silver-/White-Line modules to create a modular connector specifically adapted to any customer requirement.

Ironwood Electronics introduced its first production test contactors into the automated test environment (ATE). The PicoRaptor contact is a rigid pin that uses a single elastomer for ease of rebuild that is a high-performance contact for high frequency and high insertion count. It’s available in 1 mm and 2 mm length with pitch down to 0.30 mm pitch. The single P elastomer provides firm contact to the load board and to the tip of the contact while providing a contact wipe that keeps Cres stable by keeping solder migration to a minimum off the contact tips with a proprietary Advance Contact finish (ACF) and prolongs load board life.

Würth Elektronik’s WSEN-PDMS is a new highly accurate differential pressure sensor for a multitude of operating scenarios. The sensor operates with an accuracy of ±1 mbar and a resolution of 16 bits, supports a broad voltage range from 3.0 V up to 5.5 V, and is compatible both with digital I²C and SPI communication interfaces as well as an analog interface. Two different casing versions make the sensor particularly versatile: vertical straight nozzles for connection with pressure adapters and horizontal barbed nozzles for tube connection. This flexibility makes both system integration and prototype development much easier to accomplish. The WSEN-PDMS sensor is compatible with a broad range of microcontrollers and embedded systems. It delivers fully calibrated differential-pressure data as well as optional temperature measurements and operates reliably in a temperature range from -25 °C to +85 °C. Optionally the transmitted measurement results can be complemented by additional CRC bits, thus enabling reliable and robust communication.

Mouser Electronics now ships the new Digi Connect Sensor XRT-M from Digi International (Digi). This rugged, battery-powered LTE-M-enabled cellular gateway designed for zero-infrastructure remote monitoring in the toughest IoT environments in utilities, agriculture, environmental compliance, mining, and industrial applications. The Digi Connect Sensor XRT-M offers users both edge and cloud-based control options, together with a management platform equipped with an intuitive interface, for streamlining data management and enhancing operational efficiency. Quectel Wireless Solutions introduced five new small cell antennas to add functionality, greater flexibility, and choice for small cell deployments. The YECJ095JPAM is a 5G ceiling mount omnidirectional antenna that operates in the 380-6000MHz frequency band. With a diameter of 300 mm and height of 139mm, the RoHS compliant antenna supports 5G, LTE, 3G, 2G and Wi-Fi. The YEMG496KPAM is a 5G 4-in-1 wall and pole mount combo directional antenna designed to deliver robust performance across an exceptionally wide 617-4200MHz frequency range. The YEMG492WPAM is a 5G 4-in-1 wall and pole mount combo antenna for stadium use cases. Operating in the 1695-2690MHz and 3300-4200MHz frequency bands, the antenna measures 595mm x 419mm x143mm, and is optimized for LTE and 5G networks. The YEME491WPAM is a 4G 4-in-1 pole mount combo single beam lens antenna designed for advanced cellular networks and operates in the 1710-2690MHz frequency range, covering key bands for 3G, 4G, and early 5G deployments. The YEME490WPAM is a 4G 4-in-1 pole mount combo dual beam lens antenna that operates in the 698-960MHz frequency range and is ideally suited for LTE, NB-IoT, and other mid-band applications that require robust and focused signal delivery.

With the Proteus-IV and Ophelia-IV components, Würth Elektronik presents two new high-performance RF modules based on the latest Nordic nRF54L15-SoC semiconductor. The two modules differ only in terms of their firmware: Proteus-IV is a ready-to-use Bluetooth low-energy 6.0 module with preinstalled firmware, while Ophelia-IV is a flexible developer platform without a specific preinstalled firmware. Individual firmware options for a variety of radio protocols, including proprietary ones, can be developed using nRF Connect SDK and in the Zephyr RTOS (real-time operating system). Measuring just 8 × 12 × 2.3 mm, the compact radio modules, equipped with a 1.5 MB flash and 256 KB RAM, are based on the new nRF54L15 SoC from Nordic. This chip integrates a 128 MHz arm-cortex M33 processor, an RISC-V coprocessor, and a power-saving 2.4 GHz multiprotocol radio chip. The Bluetooth LE 6.0, Matter, Thread, Zigbee, NFC, and IEEE 802.15.4 radio protocols can be used, as can also proprietary 2.4 GHz protocols.

The Mikron Multistar neXT, designed specifically around the needs of industrial electronic connectors, introduces a new generation of rotary transfer technology where highspeed production meets full CNC freedom. For decades, mechanically driven rotary transfer machines have dominated high volume connector production. forsiteSCADA, a new SCADA solution from Bachmann electronic, enables the integrated monitoring and control of hybrid power plants by consolidating data from wind, solar, and storage systems into a unified interface. With four scalable tiers ranging from light to premium, it adapts to various plant sizes and requirements, while robust security features such as two-factor authentication and encrypted communication safeguard it from cyber threats. The control layer of these energy grids is anchored by the Smart Power Plant Controller (SPPC). Certified to handle precise power regulation, it ensures compliance with grid connection standards. Configuration is streamlined through a web-based visualization, allowing for quick adjustments to meet evolving grid operator requirements.
