2026 Push-Pull Connectors Product Roundup
This week’s Product Roundup highlights push-pull connectors from leading connector manufacturers and suppliers.
Push-pull Connectors
Quicklock chassis circular connector from Lutronic, a Lumberg Group company, releases the latch with a rocker that snaps the 2- to 12-pin connectors firmly into the sockets, and conveniently disengages the latch again with a little pressure from the finger. The field-attachable connectors as well as the panel-mount chassis receptacles (with a captive silicone cover) come in four design sizes with a 12, 16, 20, or 28 mm diameter of the mating face, for a rated current of 50 amps for the maximum performance version.
HyperGrip from Smiths Interconnect, a Molex company, is a circular plastic, user-configurable, color-coded connector with push/pull latching design allowing for one-hand disconnect. HyperGrip is designed to meet medical industry requirements such as finger-proofing to IEC60601 and flammability-rated to UL94, and it is compatible with most sterilization requirements. The series includes disposable plugs and receptacles for HG2 and HG4 sizes. HyperGrip supports overmolding and high-volume production methods and can withstand at least 30 mating cycles with insulation resistance, dielectric withstanding voltage, high current carrying, and low-level current resistance.
ATTEND’s M12 Push-Pull connector series delivers a complete, quick, secure, and tool-free connectivity solution for both cable-end and panel-mount applications. Fully compliant with IEC 61076-2-010 for mechanical compatibility and IEC 61076-2-101 for panel-mount two-piece designs, they feature a modular structure that separates insert and housing for flexible configuration and simplified inventory management. This series is available in A-code (4-, 5-, 8-, and 12-pin), D-code (4- and 5-pin), and X-code (8-pin) configurations to support power, signal, and high-speed data applications. Engineering plastic inserts, gold-plated contacts, and nickel-plated housings sealed with silicone and EPDM achieving IP67 protection against dust, oil, and moisture ensure reliable connectivity and signal integrity for industrial automation, railway, and medical devices, and PLC, fieldbus, and Ethernet applications.
PEI-Genesis supplies LEMO K-Series IP68 Push-Pull connectors that have been specifically designed for outdoor applications. The LEMO K-Series IP68 connector includes an inner sleeve and two seals to prevent penetration of solids or liquids into the housing, which is formed by the plug, free socket, fixed socket, or coupler. All models of this series are waterproof and watertight when mated to give a protection index of IP68 per IEC 60529 standard (in mated condition), and when correctly assembled to an appropriate cable (IP66 in unmated condition). Built from component parts, LEMO K-Series connectors can be configured into thousands of unique connectors.
The Amphenol NEXUS Ranger Series Push-Pull audio, signal, and power connectors from CDM Inc. are versatile and can be used in a variety of applications. This all-new line of small-format circular connectors features single-action push-pull locking and breakaway, IP68 moisture rating, and extended operating temperature range. They are rated at >5,000 mating cycles. The Ranger series’ aluminum black chrome-plated body is lightweight yet durable enough for the most demanding MIL/aero and harsh-environment applications.
Push-Pull Connectors with Push-Lock Technology from Phoenix Contact make it easy to connect and secure conductors in seconds with a simple push, delivering a fast, reliable connection that holds strong in demanding industrial environments. It’s the easiest way to reduce installation time, minimize wiring errors, and keep machines and systems running with confidence.
The Metal K Series connector from JPC Connectivity is designed for applications requiring secure, reliable, and easy-to-use connectivity. Its push-pull self-latching mechanism enables quick mating and unmating while maintaining a secure connection during operation. Built with a rugged metal housing, the K Series offers IP68 watertight protection, up to 5,000 mating cycles, and an operating temperature range of −50 °C to +200 °C. The series is available in 0K, 1K, and 2K sizes, supporting 2 to 32 contacts and current ratings from 1.5 to 25 A. Nine keying options help prevent incorrect mating, while solder, crimp, and PCB termination options provide flexibility for different equipment designs. These features make the Metal K Series ideal for medical and professional equipment, including patient monitors, endoscopes, dental equipment, ventilators, CO₂ sensors, respiratory equipment, and aesthetic devices.
JB5 from JAE are small circular connectors with IP68 waterproof rating. The push-pull mating structure enables easy insertion and removal. They have high environmental durability and user-friendly designs that can be widely used in medical, measurement, and communication equipment as well as handheld PCs, scanners, and other small equipment.
Amphenol Communications Solutions’ single-pair Ethernet (SPE) connectors for industrial applications bring direct Ethernet connectivity to peripheral devices like sensors, actuators, and vision system cameras that operate at speeds up to 1 Gb/s. SPE eliminates slow, expensive, and complex fieldbus protocols and connections by simplifying and standardizing existing and new industrial network systems. These connectors are IP67-rated with an M12-size push-pull circular form factor. Robust right angle and vertical PCB mount, and solder cup SPE jacks mate to field terminable plugs, providing a complete shielded interface with latching features. Current handling up to 4A supports PoDL (Power over Data Line) capability up to 1 km.
For simple and safe power supply to the control level, Weidmüller’s newly developed PushPull power SNAP IN connectors can be assembled quickly, easily, and reliably. The integrated SNAP IN connection technology ensures efficient cable assembly for high volumes. A clearly audible click signals the secure contacting of the conductor. These connectors are supplied with a pre-tensioned spring for quick connection without further preparation. They significantly simplify cable connection with fewer tools and fewer work steps required and reduce assembly time compared to conventional connection techniques. PushPull power SNAP IN connectors conform to the current PROFINET cabling guideline and meet IEC 61076-3-126.
