2026 High-Speed Connectors Product Roundup
This week’s Product Roundup highlights high-speed connectors from leading connector manufacturers and suppliers.
High-Speed Connectors
SV Microwave’s LiteTouch product line offers high-frequency coaxial/surface-mount PCB connectors that are ideal for precision thin substrate mounting and high-speed PCB materials. Standard solderless PCB compression mount connectors may cause trace deformation on thin (<.010) dielectric PCBs, negatively affecting RF performance. LiteTouch connectors have a pogo pin design that allows the contact to retract into the connector housing, preventing damage to the PCB and keeping VSWR stable at higher frequencies.
CABLINE-CAIIP PLUS from I-PEX can transmit 64Gb/s/lane PAM4 in a very compact 1.3 mm max height and 0.4 mm pitch format. This horizontal mating type connector can accommodate a mix of twin axial, micro-coaxial, or discrete cables in one cable assembly harness. The unique paddle card technology accomodates larger cable sizes than the typical 0.4 mm connector. It improves characteristic impedance by adjusting signal line width and also pushes out the resonance frequency by shortening the ground pass. In case of EMI concern, depending on your application, a fully shielded ZenShield cover and lock feature, along with multi-point grounding prevents EMI leakage.
Adam Tech’s High-Speed Modular Twisted-Pair Data (HT-X Series) product line is a fully shielded differential solution designed for high-speed automotive Ethernet. This new interface, composed of connectors and cable assemblies, transmits data in a robust automotive grade connection. The high-performance modular design of the system enables more flexibility in the quest to support next-generation devices. Adam Tech’s HT-X Series includes various options, such as port quantity, mounting, color-coded housing, locking, and waterproof features.
Greenconn’s GD01 Series floating high-speed connectors are designed to deliver stable, low-loss transmission in compact and vibration-intensive environments. Featuring a 1.27 mm pitch, the series combines a symmetrical floating structure that compensates for PCB tolerances during assembly with consistent contact integrity under mechanical or thermal stress. With an optimized signal path and tightly controlled impedance, the GD01 Series supports data rates up to 16 Gb/s, providing reliable performance for automotive domain controllers, industrial automation equipment, and AI-driven electronics. Its enhanced durability and long-term reliability further make GD01 a robust solution for next-generation high-speed system architectures.
Mini Cool Edge from Amphenol Communications Solutions is a 0.60 mm high-density, high-speed card edge connector for new-generation small form factor systems. The fine-pitch solutions in vertical orientation are now available for a complete interconnect solution. Mini Cool Edge 0.60 mm meets SFF-TA-1002, OCP NIC 3.0 specifications, networking, and Ethernet applications. Common applications include network interface card, add-in card, GPU link, and Ethernet switches. Features include high-speed 112 GT/s PAM4 and 85 Ω / 92 Ω impedance. Vertical connectors are now available.
Trident High-Speed connectors from ITT Cannon deliver a fully customizable connector solution. Single-pair Ethernet (SPE) and coax combined with Trident signal and power contacts enable a true hybrid solution tailored to your specific requirements. Trident High-Speed connector solutions provide high-speed data transmission up to 56 Gb/s across the fully proven Trident series of industrial connectors. These harsh environment connectors, which are available in both circular and rectangular variants, deliver the reliable connectivity demanded by today’s data-intensive applications, such as camera systems and sensors in autonomous commercial vehicles.
TVμCom from Amphenol Pcd is a miniature, high-speed rugged connector where the μCom interface is inserted as a contact into a size 11 38999 series III shell. It exceeds Cat6A and Cat7 performance operating speeds. μCom Series is a new range of connectors designed to address the latest trends of the military industry: miniaturization and high speed, with the highest resistance for use in the harshest environments. TV μCom combines μCom-10G+ speed with 38999 Series III size 11 shells robustness.
Lumberg’s 2434 02 USB and IEEE 1394 connectors are USB 2.0 chassis socket type C. They feature 16 poles, with sealing towards mounting plate, IPX7, upright version for printed circuit boards, and through-hole-reflow technology (THR), with pick-and-place cap.
ept’s Colibri high-speed connector series is ideal for servers, datacom, industrial automation, medical technology, and embedded computing systems where signal performance and high-speed reliability are critical. Colibri connectors enable high-speed PCB data transmission with their compact design and built-in shielding for optimized signal integrity. The Colibri series offers variations that are fully compliant with PCI Express (PCIe) protocols, with options that exceed the requirements of PCIe 4.0 applications. The Colibri series includes three high-speed variations, each capable of greater connection speeds for meeting the requirements of PICMG COM Express specifications: 10+ Gb/s for COM Express modules according to revision 2.1, 16+ Gb/s for COM Express modules according to revision 3.1, and 25+ Gb/s for COM Express modules according to revision 3.1 and 25+ Gbit/s Ethernet applications.
