Eaton’s 8D Hermetic MIL-DTL-38999 Series III connectors, available at PEI-Genesis. feature stainless steel housing, glass-fused inserts, and a leak rate under 10⁻⁷ atm.cm³/s for extreme environments. With up to 128 contacts (#22D), resistance to vibration, and the ability to withstand temperatures up to 200 °C, they are ideal for actuators, sensors, and valves.

SV Microwave offers IP67 and IP68 interconnects designed to withstand rigorous environments and harsh elements. SV’s cable assemblies include O-ring sealed connectors to 1 x 10-8 cc/sec, ideal for high-pressure, harsh environments, and preventing dust, liquid, or gas leakage. The adapters in this line include hermetically sealed connectors to 1 x 10-8 cc/sec, ideal for high-pressure vacuum applications and the prevention of liquid or gas leakage.

The SPEC Pak Series from Anderson Power features rugged and environmentally features rugged and environmentally sealed (IP68 rated) certified connectors made from PC or PC/PBT material that are UL94 V-0 flame resistant. Hermetic Micro D connectors from Winchester are designed in accordance with MIL-STD-83513 and are available in stainless steel, aluminum, titanium, or any combination thereof. Exclusive Ceramax dielectric compound in conjunction with BeCu contacts creates a best-in-class hermetic seal. Internal pins can be configured to accept insulated wire, wire bonds, solder cups, or flex. These connectors are laser weldable and can be integrated into higher level assemblies and electronic packages such as chassis and vacuum assembly packages. They are used in space applications, IR systems, UAVs, and integrated microwave assemblies.

HermAX developed by Axon’ is a range of lightweight and space-saving hermetic connectors. The performance of HermAx connectors goes far beyond military standards, withstanding more than 400 thermal shock cycles, and capable of enduring temperatures from -200 °C to 200 °C without leakage. For fast tool-free mating, HermAx connectors can be supplied with the Axon’ D-click fast-latching system.

The SMB 50 ohm bulkhead mount full crimp jack from COAX Connectors is IP68, hermetically sealed, and tested to 50 m unmated. It can be rear mounted with a single flat on the body. This connector features a gold-plated contact and body. The center contact and crimp sleeve are annealed for enhanced performance. Suitable for RG174 and similar cables in group AD.

Dietz Group M8 and M12 connectors based on glass-to-metal sealing offer true hermetic capability. With currents up to 16 Amps per pin, they are a perfect fit for shielding vacuum, high pressures, temperature, humidity, or corrosive environments. Ingress of moisture and gases are prevented reliably over years or decades of operation. The adherence to IEC-61076-2 ensures worldwide compatibly with standard market cables.
