Indium Corporation has earned the prestigious Supplier Award in China from Jabil Wuxi, a provider of comprehensive engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain solutions. The award, presented as part of Jabil Wuxi’s 20th anniversary celebration on January 26, recognizes Indium Corporation’s expertise in the applications and properties of solder paste, which have contributed to Jabil’s engineering capabilities and business development.

Nicomatic Group has acquired Gauthier Connectique, a specialist in precision connectors for the aerospace industry. This acquisition strengthens the positions of both companies in the aerospace market. Nicomatic Group, with a turnover of 100 million euros, 700 employees, 22 subsidiaries, and 7 factories worldwide, reaffirms its ambition for excellence and innovation. Gauthier Connectique, with its 6 million euros in turnover and 50 employees based in Avranches, brings its expertise and local reputation, with 85% of its activity concentrated in France. The two entities share common values of agility, resilience, and innovation, with a strong commitment to a differentiated customer experience.

PEI-Genesis announced the expansion of its value-add capabilities for D-Sub connectors at its European Manufacturing Headquarters in Southampton, UK. This facility is now approved to value-add a range of ITT Cannon D-Sub Commercial series (non-military) connectors, including solder cup/contact, PC tail, crimp, and combo-D series connectors. Watch as Lee Slater, EU operations director-quality, talks about the new capabilities in the Southampton facility. PEI-Genesis also celebrated the official opening of a new office in Bangalore, India. This key milestone was marked with a traditional ceremony graced by Steven Fisher, PEI-Genesis CEO; Alex Tsui, vice president and managing director APAC; and Bernard Koh, regional sales director South Asia, together with the company’s team of India Sales Trusted Advisors. Steven Fisher inaugurated the office by lighting a lamp and performing a puja ceremony.

TTI Inc. announced two new distributor agreements. TTI Inc. now distributes PANJIT semiconductors, giving electronics designers access to a wider range of semiconductor products from one source. As an authorized distributor of FCL Components America, Inc. (FCAI), TTI Inc. now supplies thousands of standard and customized electromechanical relays. FCAI, formerly Fujitsu, provides a wide range of solutions for the electronic component market as a leader in electromechanical products.
Sager Electronics added Taoglas, a leading global provider of advanced antenna and RF solutions, to its line card. Taoglas offers a comprehensive range of IoT products and services that enable seamless connectivity for a wide range of applications. Taoglas configurators – Antenna Builder and Cable Builder – are available on sager.com, allowing customers to configure an antenna or assembly to meet their specifications as well as submit a request for quote.
Avnet and indie Semiconductor Inc. have executed a distribution agreement. indie’s highly differentiated solutions address the key automotive megatrends of driver safety and automation (ADAS), in-cabin user experience (UX), and electrification. Included in this agreement are indie’s USB power delivery, intelligent lighting, motor control, ultrasonic, and 120GHz radar sensing silicon solutions. Additional product lines will be made available in the future.
Heilind Electronics has expanded its global connector portfolio with the addition of BERNIER. The agreement includes Interstate Connecting Components (ICC), a division of Heilind Mil-Aero. BERNIER designs and manufactures ruggedized interconnects proven in the most challenging conditions around the world — in land defense, naval defense, military aeronautics, security, and industrial applications.
TPC Wire and Cable has been acquired by Amphenol Corporation. TPC Wire & Cable will operate as a standalone business unit within Amphenol under the new name Amphenol TPC Wire & Cable (Amphenol TPC) and will retain its headquarters location in Macedonia, Ohio. Amphenol TPC will now be part of the Amphenol Harsh Environment Solutions Division, joining several other industrial businesses. By leveraging TPC’s extensive wire and cable capabilities, Amphenol TPC seeks to accelerate and enhance the value of its industrial solutions.
