Connector & Cable Test Equipment

Test equipment is used to measure the electrical or mechanical properties of a connector or cable assembly.  This testing can be mechanical, such as insertion/extraction force, retention force, axial and lateral bending or cable pulling, or be electrical and include contact or insulation resistance, current cycling, insertion loss or shielding effectiveness.  Often accessories such as test probes or banana or pin tip plugs and jacks are necessary to complete these tests.
