has enhanced its extensive range of card-edge connectors to include 8,000 standard styles and 435,000 customized variations.
EDAC cardEDGE+ connectors are available with two to 188 contacts in single- and dual-row versions, with contact spacing that spans 1.27mm to 5.08mm; they come with or without card guides. cardEDGE+ connectors tolerate operating temperatures from -65°C to +105°C and require an insertion force of only 4.45N, which ensures high contact reliability and connection retention. Contact resistance is as low as 10mΩ.
The EDAC cardEDGE+ connector range also offers specialized contact options, including PCB thru-hole, wire-wrap, solder eyelet, and extender board tail and, to meet customer-specific interconnect design requirements, includes devices with extra row spacing, multiple PCB footprints, polarizing options, extra mountings, additional high-temperature insulators, multiple insulator color and dimension options, and extra contact plating.
