October 2013 –  In September, John MacWilliams took us through the process of researching, compiling, and writing the iNEMI Roadmap for the electronics industry and gave us a closer look at the findings in the connector section. JEDEC finalized the DDR4 specification in September 2012. It is expected to hit server applications first, where its initial higher price can be justified, and then reach PCs later, as the prices drop.
