PROFIBUS and PROFINET International (PI)

PI is the largest automation community in the world. It heads a global network of vendors, developers, System Integrators and end users having a common interest in promoting, supporting and using PROFIBUS and PROFINET. No other fieldbus organization in the world has the same kind of global influence and reach. PROFIBUS and PROFINET are world leaders in industrial networking.

PI hosts a large number of active working groups that are responsible for developing, standardizing, and maintaining PROFIBUS and PROFINET. The groups also include a global PI network of test, training and certification services, and service providers.
